Number of Years- Celebrating First Birthdays

As an infant teacher in a child development program I've the privilege of celebrating a lot of first. It's so much fun to celebrate each ones first birthday. I made this card for one of my little one's first birthday. I used the is card using the number of years stamp set and the large numbers framelits die. They come in a bundle that will save you 15%.

I made these pouches for my coworkers for Valentine's Day. They all loved them and a couple asked for directions on how to make them. I decided to kill two birds with one stone, and recreate them for some up coming Family Birthday Celebration. This month we are celebrating four family members birthdays. I needed a quick gift card holder and small gift wrapper for all the gifts. These were easy to make and I could make them any size.

Birthday Bash Stamp a Stack

Hi all,

I am hosting my first annual Birthday Stamp a Stack. This is a little different from the Christmas Stamp a stack. We will be making two of each card, but if you have a favorite card you'd like to make more of, you have the option of ordering more kits to complete at the event.

I have to tell you that my first stamp I ever bought was a Birthday stamp. Between my large family (6 siblings + 16 and growing nieces and nephews) and cards for co-works and students, I thought it would save me a little money. Who knew that that small purchase would awaking a 10+ year hobby that has filled my life with great friendships and memories. She choose the Festive Flurries and the Sweets for the Sweet stamp sets. Then we had a discussion that went something like this: Me: Would you like blue for your snowflake? Gracie: I want red for the candy. And pink. Me: Here is some red for your candy. Look at all these pretty blues you could use for your snowflakes. Gracie: I want pink. Me:Snowflakes are usually white or blue. Gracie (turning her big blue eye to me): Aunt Heidi, my favorite color is pink. So we ended up with pink snowflakes.
